Oaktree is a unique vibrant facility offering a creative alternative learning environment and social network for people with Autism, Learning Disabilities, Physical and or Sensory Impairment.
We adopt a ‘person centered approach’ allowing flexibility to change activities to suit personal needs and preferences. Our Manager works hard with our Activity Facilitators to create fun and meaningful workshops to promote creativity and independence.
Independence is key and building confidence to achieve independence and succeed is something that Oaktree feel strongly about. Inspiring the service users to believe in themselves and their ability to obtain the goals.
Workshops & Activities

Young Adult Transition
We understand that leaving school is a big step and that is why we want to support you with your next steps. At 15 you can start attending Oaktree during the school holidays because we all know that it is important to have places to go to meet friends and try out new activities. It can also be a worrying time, therefore Oaktree gradually can create a smoother transition from leaving school.
Specialist Care
Service Users can attend Oaktree with their own PA’s, Independently or opt for a support package, delivered by us tailored to their individual needs.
All staff are fully trained in mandatory training such as manual handling, first aid, health and safety and much more. We train further in Enternal feeding e.g. PEG/JEJ, Epilepsy & Emergency Medication and oxygen to provide the best care.
